Violations

Violations

The Violations section shows your lot's covenant compliance history — both open violations and past resolved violations.

Status banner

At the top of the page, a banner shows your current standing:

  • Green banner — No open violations. Your lot is in good standing.
  • Amber banner — You have an open violation with a cure period. Action is required.
  • Red banner — You have an unresolved violation past the cure period. Contact your board immediately.

Violation details

Each violation entry includes:

Date IssuedWhen the board recorded the violation
Cure PeriodNumber of days given to correct the issue
Date ResolvedWhen the board marked the violation corrected
StatusOpen, Resolved, or Escalated
NotesDescription of the issue from the board

Receiving a violation notice

If a violation is issued against your lot, you'll see it appear here. Your board may also send a written notice by email or postal mail.

To resolve a violation:

  1. Review the violation description to understand what needs to be corrected
  2. Correct the issue within the cure period
  3. Contact your board administrator to confirm the correction
  4. The board will update the status to Resolved in the system

Disputing a violation

If you believe a violation was issued in error, contact your board in writing as soon as possible. Refer to your CC&Rs for the formal dispute process for your community.
